Sam The Slug has always been a controversial game. Some deem it as total rubbish, and some praise it for its originality. Well..that was peoples opinions of the 2-level demo I released ages ago. But now, the full version is here. It only has 9 levels, and to be honest I kind of rushed this out. I hated making this game, and lost motivation for it. So rushed it is.

All you need to play this game is a keyboard. The arrow keys guide Sam around nine sections of garden, and your ultimate objective is to escape to pastures new. But you need food to replace the energy you lose. Sam must collect every carrot in a garden section in order to progress, while avoiding traps and enemies. Things are made harder by the fact that whenever Sam moves, he leaves behind some slime, which rapidly hardens. Sam cannot climb over this, or dig under it, and he cannot backtrack. Planning is the key here, and the Camera Mode will be a godsend.

Upon pressing space during gameplay, you will lose control of Sam, and access Camera Mode. With this mode activated, you can scroll around the play area, planning routes and spotting new traps or enemies. You can only access Camera Mode if Sam has stopped. To stop Sam, simply run into a wall, or press a direction key opposite to the direction Sam is headed (eg, if Sam is moving LEFT, press the RIGHT arrow key). To exit Camera Mode and return to the game, simply press ENTER to regain control of Sam and continue your escape!

i need somthing, when i open it it says a libary or somthing has not been installed (i think its the mp3 reader) make an installer for it! 4 ppl like me

oh nuts, i forgot the dll files XD What you need is bass.dll, I think you can get that from Fallen Angel. Simply move the bass.dll into either the same folder as Sam The Slug or in c://windows//system
