Drowning Cross is a point'n click adventure game about a chubby depressed dude trying to find his boyfriend after he's had a car crash. Better find him before this dark and lonely night gobbles him up! Yeah, it's one of THOSE nights.

In true adventure game fashion, you pick up lots of random items and try to throw them at other items or sometimes even other people. I'm pretty sure that's what they call social interaction. There's also this thought system where the main character remembers stuff to do for you. Remembering stuff is hard, after all.

You'll probably get the good ending if you're a True Gamer. If you don't, then you better git gud at adventure games fast! Just click stuff HARDER.

Oh btw -- you probably should be a big boi if you wanna play this game. It has some more adult stuff like THE EFF WORD and LIQUIDS WITH ALCOHOL IN THEM.

-Mostly one playable character except when there's suddenly two to control
-25 scenes or so
-An original soundtrack I fumbled together with my very own hands
-English and German text
-LGBTQIA+ stuff
-Thinky Bubbles so your magnificent gamer brain won't forget what to do
-Runs at a scaled-up 320x180 resolution bc I'm lazy, old and tired

42.9 Mb? How can I download a game that b... oh wait, it's already downloaded.

Always good to see something new made by the author of the excellent A Game with a Kitty series. It might be made with a modern Unity engine but it still has that previous-millennium feel to it.

It's cool that most modern game engines let you make games that look like it's 1992. Unity's especially nice because I can also put my games on the Switch and stuff. Thinkin' about plopping this game on the eShop for half a dollar or so.
