This is a little topdown "RPG" I made in Klik&Play in 1999. I found it on an old backup cd along with some other old games and decided to release it just for fun. All I did with is was convert it to MMF2.

The great rebel leader von Knarr dies in a battle with the army of the evil king of Grosmus.
Von Knarr doesn't like rotting in his tomb and becomes a walking skeleton, still wearing his cape
and sword. Revenge is a small problem as the evil King died as well, so he will try to kill his
evil son, now the new evil king, instead.

Walk: directional buttons
Attack: Shift

- 7 minutes of gameplay
- decent graphics for its time
- Horrible standard movements
- No music and sound
- Sudden ending

This is pretty cool I love that 4th screenshot! Reminds me of an old RPG i had for the PC, can't rememebr the name - but it was really eerie.

I'll suggest both of those to Clubsoft.

There's a rich man sleeping on a golden bed,
There's a skeleton choking on a crust of bread!!

Oh! No, it looks like he's.. sporting a cape instead!!

this is awesome- you should totally do a remake.

Phizzy: Uh, for one function? Why bother?

Oh yeah, thanks for the kind words and all, I am thinking about some sort of remake, but I have about 20 other projects to finish first.

More kind words: Please, thank you.

Not very good and enjoyable. I liked the story though.

Also: Kind of what you can expect from a 7 year old KnP n00b game?
Posted by Hayo 17th October, 2006

It made me when it was seven.

A cute little game but really too short and too easy. Took me 5 minutes to finish it. It ends too abruptly. I like the graphical design and inter-level animations. If I was on your place I would remake the game by prolonging it and highly advancing it. It has potential.

Nuts, I downloaded it last night and THIS of all things crashed my computer... twice! Who would have thought something made so long ago would be such a pain. Too bad, I wanted to play it too

Anyone else have any trouble with the title screen appearing waaaay too big for the screen, and not being able to do anything? No buttons appear, the game appears to be stuck in full-screen mode, and there's no keyboard response with the exception of ALT+F4.

Hayo, if you have any clues as to what I can do to make the game work, please post. Thanks!
Posted by s-m-r 30th October, 2006

Actually...playing with a gamepad worked okay.
Posted by Del Duio 31st October, 2006

That's what happened to me the first time s-m-r. No sound, just the really big picture of the skeleton and other guy, the cursor, no buttons or texts or anything.

I really like this game.

It's because it's brain-dead easy. Go figure.

No offense.
