hey i finaly released a alpha of Fireball 3 public!

its as far as i can see the most advanced breakout game ever made.

levels have "at least" 4 bats, one on each wall in this alpha level.

just as in fireball 2 you can use spells but here you also got items that dont require mana.

one of the main improvement from fireball 2 is that the ball bounce perfectly from the bat
if the ball bounce a bit to the right on the bat it will bounce to the right

the screen has also much better design and it aint "wide screen" anymore

after lotsof request's i have now added multiple lives = and you got 2 seconds "cooldown"

the alpha come with 2 great music tracks but you can also load a custom file or play CD

Please mail me if you find any bugs or have any suggestions

to start with spells and items load the save file "all stuff.f3s"

wow.. i have never seen someone spend so much time on a breakout game. if those gfx arent ripped, there the best gfx ive seen for a breakout game, and the interface is probally also the best ive seen, for a breakout game. Although, even if this is the best made breakout game ive ever seen. that does not pardon the fact, that it is still a breakout game. ;)

I think you should hide the windows cursor except when needed

the gfx is orginal ;) the cursor is needed for having control of the bats location's if i added a custom pointer it would go behind the list boxes etc

you should use some kinda "custom lists" instead of those ugly windows lists

wow... 6 meg for a breakout clone... no thanks. but the graphics look pretty sweet (psychadelic, but sweet nontheless). i'll download the finished product!

6meg comes from mp3s. You should use a custom pointer, just bring it to front. Ball sometimes goes through the tiles and you could make better animations.

i cant bring active in front of list box ball sometimes go trough what?? its not suposed to bounce away from all kinds of blocks

This really deserves a review. So it shall be written, so it shall be done. And by the way, sorry about not mentioning spells/items - missed that the first time I read the description.

wow! long review ^^ i havent realy included alot of information on this alpha... you dont need to use mouse pointer on the menu´s you can press 1,2,3 etc for spells and q,w,e etc for items i might use a 3x3 field for graphic displayed items and spells instead of that ugly list box ;) o and it cant realy play all module files only .it files will work.. i gona fix that... note that the CD feature plays a random song instead of the first track ;) im chocked about getting 10 for graphic and 7 for gamplay personaly i would give it 7 for graphic and 9 for gameplay instead :P
