Well for the folks wondering whatever happened to Kevin Smets, he has been working on his own movie. In fact the movie now even has a small following and it is show at a comic convention. Here is the news from Kevin: For those in the Southern California area, or for the many who are travelling to the San Diego Comic Convention (North America's most prestigious comics convention of its kind), be sure to check out my film "THE SYNDICATE", which has garnered quite a following since its release into the film festival circuit this July. Young soldier Kaydon Sentry is wounded and left behind on a dark and desolate planet. Taken in by the enemy, he forges a friendship with one whom he was brainwashed to hate. When The Syndicate returns for him, their world is turned upside down. It has more ties to Klik than many would think: Some characters and situations are actually loosely based on the ol' Future Fantasy series. After the film we'll be holding a half-an-hour panel.
