I think there is a fair bit of malice in what people say over the internet, but it at the end of the day, it's down to interpretation and reaction.
Someone could say something offensive directed at you and it could just be a simple friendly tease, or they could literally be abusing you. It's hard to tell unless they make it obvious. So it's down to you interpretation.
Once you've made up your mind what exactly has been said, it's up to you to act accordingly...a come back perhaps? a taunt in return? or just ignore it and move on?
The thing is that everyones gonna have their own interpretation of what has been said, and react the same.
I don't see malice in what people say over the net, it's either just stupidity in the form of a pointless offensive gesture, something that is best not taken seriously; or someone voicing their oppinion, and there's nothing wrong with that, especially if it's well justified.
I don't think the internet should be a place full of hatred, haven't we seen enough of that in the real world as it is? Can't we all get along...even with different view points/cultures/unbringing or whatever.
I don't see why it should be that hard at the end of the day...I really don't!

Wow, what an interesting read! "Yeah I agree with Pete. No, now I agree with Paul. No, now I agree with Pete again...!" etc. Two very intelligent people. Paul stopped though, what gives?
I think, if I make something for people to use (paid or not), I can run it how I want based on what matters to me. If getting more people to use it matters, and they're leaving because of the way its run, then I would change the way it's run.
But untill that happens, why should I change it?

for the record, fire had posted the word "FUCK" continuously without spacing, resulting in the page becoming distorted.
i really don't see why i need to argue my point any further.
and it is a shame that paul's stopped arguing. i was enjoying a nice argument back there. maybe he went outside with his girlfriend or something stupid like that.
I never noticed anything really that bad enough for this little "Speech" tobe made for.
