Nephew. And yes I thought it was cute, rather than funny, and no, the majority didn't even know that child was related to Noodle, and no, the majority of this site probably wouldn't even care. You can tell me it's the principle but I found that picture hardly offensive. Perhaps if it was an adult dressed as a cute little elf, or made to look like a drag queen, but come on, this really is petty.

I agree. Wasn't until now that I went and looked for the pictures, then got a chuckle out of it. So I'm sorry to say Noddle, but I think you accidentally made a fool of yourself, by telling everyone they were related to you. No one knew or even cared.
So leaving a site because other members can't leave you alone is petty, but posting pictures of someone else's family on the internet without permission isn't? If your intentions were as good as you claim they were, then why didn't you just ask him in advance if you could use those photos? Yay, bandwagon ridicule.
And you're right, Noodle and Hayo, what happened to this place?
Frankly, Noodle and I were probably out for the same thing. A renewed community. The community as it is now, with Phizzy constantly getting new accounts then banned and admins being played into locking topics, well it sucks.

And yet I was still questioned my motives when I said that this "community" has become little more then just a bunch of people in a small area, trying to get along... and quite frankly as of recently more then ever, failing miserably.
Well, take care. If you change your mind, remember that the entire rest of the community will welcome you back. We're not all Liji, Adam, or Fred. I just hope this whole thing gets sorted out for everyone. Some people were acting WAY out of hand, and I hope they regret that.

Erm... Am I allowed to say that I've actually seen that as LIJI's avatar before :\ and I never knew who the hell it was - hence me remembering, being confused.
Anyways, I don't think it is petty. I think there's more reasons than what was happened here for Matt to leave this community too - pick one out of the hat really dude! I'd want to leave if it was done to me... Try to think of this from Matt's point of view and put yourself in his shoes :\ I'd do the same!

I disagree with that. Since allowing stuff like that is like saying it's okay to bully someone as long as nobody else knows about it. I would certainly not find it funny if someone had my sister in their avatar/signature even though others wouldn't know who it was. That's reason enough for me to not allow stuff like that.
Though this whole ordeal maybe could be handled a bit more privately. More and more people get involved in these threads and that seems to lead to more drama.
