Mario lost his boots!! This can't be happening! How is he going to stomp enemies from now on? With his trusty plumber's wrench, of course!

Presentation

Pretty colorful graphics which give the impression of being in the world of Mario. The menus department is a bit bland, with a single good-looking title screen, no level intros and such. Sounds effects are close to inexistant. Music is OK but tends to get annoying when you're on the final level of each act.

Gameplay

Mario lost his boots, so he won't be able to stomp enemies anymore, but he'll use his trusty wrench to do the job instead. Each act is constitued of four levels and a boss. Levels are fun to play and contains unique enemies. Some devices are added in as you progress through the game, like springboards and switches. If the levels are easy for you, rest assured that the bosses are harder. It may take some tries to figure out a boss pattern (fortunately you have unlimited lives to fight a boss), but once it's done, you shall enjoy a satisfactory victory. The default platform engine is prone to it's usual bugs, but apart from that I didn't sighted any problems while I've played. Good job in overall.

Lastability

The game do last for a bit of time, but anyone who liked it will enjoy a replay through it.

Overall

Mario lost his boots was quite a good game. It was original, fun, uncomplicated, and easy to play. Download the game right now and take your wrench to pound those boot-stealing no-gooders!!
