Project Overview
Preview Not working on Hooghaar Classic, so what am I working on? O just something in html5.

You all might be familiar with the Dungeon TV series and we're working on an new episode of this puzzle game.

This demo is a port of the first level made in html5, canvas and javascript. To showcase it's potential. Plus developing in javascript is pretty fast and it can be played on different platforms since it runs entirely in the browser. Too bad Internet Explorer doesn't support canvas yet, though I would recommend Chrome anyways.

So Dungeon TV, this demo is mobile orientated and therefore pretty small. You might want to try a (browser) double sized version by pressing the number 2 on your keyboard.

Move Hooghaar and Fishhead with the arrow keys, switch between them with the letter S on your keyboard. Or swipe with your mouse in the direction you want to move.

Basically you need to avoid all dangerous objects in the game and make it to the end with both of your players. Once there you need to step on the right switch for the right character so the door to the next level will open.

Only the switches and the door aren't there yet.

Have fun walking!

Moved
Posted 28th Dec 10, by Jenswa Post A Comment
DungeonTV html5 demo has been added to the downloads in the demo section and uploaded on my site in a decent spot.

So everything has moved to this location:

Well, not everything, the version-history was 'lost' or should I say forgotten in this case.

The demo is done now, TEN bars have been added along with a timer and those CNN style TEN comments.

For more information on the changes read:

All the basic gameplay elements are in place and the first&only level for this demo is finished.

Check the demo:

Read the version history to see what has been added and changed since previous onces:

All that's left is implementing the special TEN (Tomatoman Entertainment Network) interface, including a time limit.
Double door
Posted 19th Dec 10, by Jenswa Post A Comment
The double door has been added , characters can't walk outside the play area anymore, nor can they finish this demo level since the green and red button aren't working yet.

Somewhere within these two weeks I will try to finish this demo, so it's possible to complete this level.

I've also fixed a bug where one could push a rock down into passive character, that's forbidden from now on.

The version history has also been uploaded for anyone interested:

Try playing the latest version from:

PS: Comments from Safari users are particularly welcome, since they won't have any sound and I should fix that sooner or later for them.
