Project Overview  
Preview Twisted Guy features Guy, a recolor who's goal is to make his own name as a sprite. He is joined by many famous game characters that will help him through many missions. He must run, slash, jump, carry, and summon his way to the Creator and make his own walk of fame...Before his anger consume him and he explodes into useless pixels.

Guy will go on mission set which is exactly as it is...A set of missions. A mission set will contain 9 missions and a special boss related mission at the end. Here is a list of current abilities available to Guy that will him during mission.

-Have an array of weapons such as swords, bows, staffs, axes, hammers, and knuckles

-Picking up and carry objects

-Being aided by a partner(a character that can be control directly and switched out with Guy)

-Also being aided by a helper(characters that can be summoned quickly to lend an ability)

-More abilities soon

I plan on the initial release of the game to feature the Twisted Story which will of course be part of the main story and feature 5 missions sets and the Challenge Mission Set that will just be missions that'll get you thinking.

This isn't your typical platformer...You'll have to think to get through this game or that's my goal. So prepare yourself for laughs and a challenges galore.

Character Partner and Helpers

So I decided to put up a list of planed characters slated for appearance. Of course this list could and probably will change. Note that partners are those who can be switch out with Guy and played with directly and Helpers can only be summoned to do special things. Everyone can become a partner and a helper. For instance once you unlock Mario you can use him as your partner one mission then a helper the next but not at the same time. I'm still trying the system worked out in my head before I get to coding that. So here's some characters that may appear. If you'd like someone to appear let me know. In the parenthesis is their sprite style if anyone cares)

Mario (Super Star Saga)
Megaman (in his various series)
Link (Megaman Zero ?)
Ichigo (Jump Ultimate Stars)
Zero (Megaman Zero)
Goku (Jump Ultimate Stars)
Mighty (Sonic Battle)
Sonic (Sonic Battle/Advance)
Shadow (Sonic Battle)
Tsuna [is that spelled right] (Jump Ultimate Stars)

That's just a few characters that may appear.
New Logo

Um I was recently told something about my logo that made me want to change it. I won't say the reason I just don't want other people to think the same. But I think the new logo is so much better. Well I'm still working on the game engine...The first thing I"m trying to get down is the collisions and movements which is proving to be a challenge. Once I get this engine done Imma start forming a team (if possible) cause I need a lot for the full game and I can't do it all. I mean if anyone want to lend their helping hand anyway..... Preview

Game Engine Revamp

Preview

So I've been working on the game engine for almost a week now and I'm not pleased.I didn't expect this to be easy as this is my first real game in MMF2 so I'm actually just getting use to the interface and commands. The thing is once I'm finished with the game engine I'll be like 80% done with the game because all I would need to do after that is complete the level using the debug room as a base. Of course this debug room is where I'm designing the game engine. So I've decided to scrap all the code/events and start from jump street. Below is a screenie of the debug room as it is now and later on it may be turned into a mission and become an easter egg.
Twisted Guy Logo and Game Engine

I have the logo for Twisted Guy. It's not much but it is something to work with. I'm currently working on the game engine in what I like to call the Debug Room. When done with the game engine Guy will be able to walk, run, attack, carry, summon. Of course the first four commands are self-explanatory but Before each mission you will be able to select one party member (someone who can be played with directly) and one summon (someone who can be called upon to lend their special ability). In my next devlog I will explain my goal for the game and post a video of how far I've gotten with the engine. Just in case the video does not accompany my next devlog I'll post screenshots.
