hmm... well, rise of the machines and mario's time machine are both, in fact, utter crap, I have rode my bike faster than the very variable speed of light this is actually true, because some clever bugger used super freezed sodium to slow light down to about 40mph.

and so you all know we all time travel, it is in fact perhaps the easiest thing you have ever done, proven by the fact that most of you seem to have no idea that you seem to have been doing it for YOUR WHOLE LIFE

current time travel rate: a little under+1 second of time traveled for every 1 second that occurs

it is under because time is slowed in any amount of gravity, and as you all seem to know that movement slows time perhaps you should notice that the earth moves?

and the comment about the worm holes is true: if they exist and there is a way to move the ends around you can de-syncronise the ends locations in time

Twas brillig, and the slivey toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe,
All mimsy were the borogroves,
And the momewraths outgrabe.

hehe true jd.. humans ever creating a time machine would end up on an infinite trime traveling to the past..

Time travellig would be so dense that the chances of people coming back to the past as today would so very big that it would be very weird that if they didn't be here already telling us about it. But then again who can know for sure you know?

maybe we are just on this universe on random luck

Our world is four dimensional, the fourth dimension being time. The Big Bang kind of flung us out travelling this way in time (forwards). Perhaps it may be possible to attempt to accelerate backwards in time. But this would mean the normal universe would continue forwards and leave you behind...

I agree with Jimmy Brzezicki. Wormholes rulez! (Read my post above) I think that this is one of the most interesting threads in DC!!!!!!

well, they say the universe is expanding( distances between planets are becoming bigger) but at some point the universe will shrink for the reason all particles atract each other.. and that'll be the end, cuz nothing will be able to separate them once the whole universe is the size of a tennis ball.

the universe wont be the size of a tennis ball it will be a single particle smaller than anything that has ever existed.

and time is just a theory and not possible to physically change with todays technology.
but we are always moving forward in time so really we are time travelling.
see?

Well, you all have good opinions, but here'smine. Time is nothing but a series of interconnected planets, all in different places. Each fraction of a second is a different planet. Every peson on earth is stuck in a wormhole, linked between the planets un til the final planet, which would cause everyone to be flung into the void of space, causing an apacolypse. Death is the destruction of this wormhole, birth the creation. So technically, it is impossible to travel thorugh time. It would take great, more-than-superhuman, force to alter these wormholes by making them faster or reversed. Therefore, it is impossible to travel backwards. Also, each world is inanimate, an incapable of movement. So it wouldn't really be worth it to travel back or forward.

Remember, there's a little darkness in all of us... we just express it best.
