No updates unfortunately. I would hate to let this "sink and die" without finding out what has happened - but I'm not sure what else I can do if nobody is owning up to it.
Well, I suppose there is an update. I nuked Dogzers fake account, and worried in the admin forums that there was the potential for all accounts under the same IP to be nuked, but I was assured this was not the case, and that Dogzers main account was deleted prior to this.
So... we still don't know really. But I have to admit I was very worried about the potential of me deleting the account this way and also lost a bit of sleep over it. But it turns out that deleting the fake account has no effect on other accounts.
I think the culprit already saw this thread by now so if he didn't confess then he probably won't confess, ever.
This thread will probably die without us knowing who locked the other thread.

Sod all's changed. You've still got the self-entitled oldies, the camp, Bond villain-esque whinies, the ill-advised stardom seekers and the largely decent, ever-suffering populace wondering whether or not they should even be getting stirred up by it all. We all know that this place is rammed full of talented artists (be it in code, visuals, and everything in between), but sadly many of us fall foul of having the Artist's Personality at times, too.
Some people enjoy this life-sapping, amateur politics nonsense way too much. Shame on them for so easily getting carried away, falling into position and mindlessly impersonating what the rest of the petty, arguing internet is doing too. I happen to believe that the Klik community is much better than that (the Clickteam forums are proof ) and that one rotten egg - not even a rotten egg with (a) almighty admin powers or (b) a genuinely lonely and petty shit stirrer - could do any damage if we didn't let them. All this drama does is justify and exaggerate the problem.
Robert your little "internet politics" line is becoming old now. Infact, its pretty much all you post every couple of months or so. And as for labelling people as "rotten eggs", don't get me started. Past pms prove what an utter hypocrite you're being, and its really quite laughable.
I cant believe someone who contributes so little to the community can be so opinionated at times. Perhaps if you'd ever posted a game or updated your projects, or even showed a real interest, you wouldn't have to flabbergast people with your wonderful grammar skills to keep your foot in the door.
We are not worked up by threads being and locked and members being deleted. We are worked up by being lied to about it when we ask who did it and why. None of us were attacked personally.
As far as self titled oldieness goes, I have been clicking since 1996, been part of the community since 2000 and part of my income comes from making games and teaching TGF2. For me that is reason enough to completely go bats when fishy things are going on in the community. I have been holding back.
