Hey, so until the -secret- project? finishes that club and flava are working on in well secret.

Maybe until that day comes we should change the default theme to something more brighter? Or different?

Spice things up a little? Add some hot sauce to this plain dish?

I believe the current default is set to the dark blue one? Does anyone have a preference to see the default theme change to?

Reply here oh wise clickers!

Here's an idea that i think prob won't happen...

We once saw winners of the GOTW/GOTM get their games incorporated into the Daily Click main logo. Why not do this again (which would mean the GOTM would need to start up again) but also sap the colours too to match the game in question?

We only got 1 entry I believe at the time, so I just added that one to the skins page.

I started making a skin (with OMC's assistance) but for some reason none of my templates ever properly worked, and i dunno why?

That simply won't do.

I think I'll take a look through this.

Cool OMC!

We could really use a nice brighter skin. The dark is starting to depress me!

I keep mine to the classic DC blue theme. I've been trying to get a skin submitted to you guys but none of you seem to be interested.

As far as the default theme goes, I'd like a lighter theme for when I'm on other computers just checking in and not logging in, but it doesn't matter much because when I log in, it doesn't effect me.

I'd be interested in making another one, but only if the pictures are changed from GIF to PNG. I want to create one using ArtRage 2.

If you can figure out how to edit the CSS file to make your skin, it doesn't matter what format the current images are.

I'm sticking the skin in a folder smack dab in the middle of my desktop so I don't forget to try one later.

I was making a skin a while back, but the site design wasn't flexible enough to do a lot of what I wanted. If I remember right, all the layout stuff is in the ASP files, so you can't alter it with CSS - only the images/fonts/colors.

Without being able to change the sidebar dimensions, you find you have to use very small text to fit the writing in, and then there are only one or two fonts that are still readable at that size.

In the end, you can't really do a whole lot besides change the general color scheme, and replace the top banner.

Maybe I'll give it another go sometime. There are a few things I want to try: eg. using animated gifs, using javascript inside the css (didn't know this was possible until just now).
