Well per high demand here it is folks our second DC SKIN COMPO! The last one we had in 2007 was a huge success and we got some great skins out of it!
Here are the rules: You have to know how to handle .css files and a way to test your skin out. We do allow people working in teams for this. There has to be a theme that flows together. Like a dark theme, or pirates theme or whatever, but it has to flow together. The deadline will be February 10th, 1 month from today. You can DC-Mail me with the link to your theme, and i'll forward them over to all the other admins.
In the end the top 3 of best themes will get a spot on the site for everyone to choose from!. Also the winners will receive each 700 dc points. Good luck folks, should be interesting to see what you guys will come up with.
The link will be posted shortly, club just needs to update some files from the 2007 zip file some stuff was changed since then, keep checking it should be up shortly, but you can already start thinking of some ideas and do some planning:) |

IT IS FRIDAY! WOOT WOOT, Have fun these 2 days, enjoy them, embrace them, love them and well unless you work during the weekend.. ANYHOW FRIDAY WE LOVE YOU! And what better to spend your friday then to help one of your fellow game maker out! DeadmanDines released a new tech demo called Geronimo but he needs some constructive comments on it for him to find some inspiration to turn this demo into a fully fledged ultra coolio game!
Comments from DeadmanDines:Okay, so you may remember the tortoise. Well he's back, and this time I want you to test his training level! This level also allows you to slow time down, which will eventually be a feature found later on in the game, but for now it's here to be tested. It's only quick, but I need some comments to get my inspiration up again Click here to go to the download page for Geronimo Tech Demo! |

This recent and awesome application has been overlooked so I thought I'd give it a bit of attention. Dispatcher. Instead of rambling on, I'll just let Code6 do the explaination.
Comments from the Author:Dispatcher creates a fully functional Updater executable for you to include with your software. All you need is a website (HTTP, HTTPS, or FTP). Deploying powerful Updaters has never been so simple!
When releasing a new version of your software, just let Dispatcher generate update data and upload it to your webserver(s).
When the Updater is run on a user's PC, your software will automatically be updated to its latest version! You can choose to run the Updater how it best suits your software's and user's needs.

Congrats to pikor for winning this weeks GOTW with Rawtank! It is a fine puzzle game that is screaming fore a sequel!
Now on to the sad news, since most games that were submitted this week are eather demos or alphas (yes even Bala de Revólver) We will have to skip 1 week to gather up more games. So if you have a game lying around or almost completing one, submit it to the site! I myself would love to play some christmassy games this week, were are all the santa and snow games!:( Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying this really cool week!
