The idea sounds good. It would to add an IRC channel for communicating about the games you're working on with multiple people.
The only thing i am curious about is:
why won't it fail or die like other groups, like you mentionned in your first post?
And what will be done about the rank problem, which obviously is going to arrive?
Well anyways, i like the idea.

I support the idea, but a few extra things in it would be good:
- One huge click game, to which everyone from the supergroup can contribute something. Say, something like the TDC game, but less prone to dying out because there's plenty of people to work on and improve things.
- Normal people can join a special recruitment group, where people are chosen to see if they qualify for the job. This makes sure people who think they're very good in stuff (but really are NOT) don't get in the team.
- Games are categorized in good/less good/medoicre/bad, judged by most of the team members other than the creator(s), so visitors get a good impression of the team and their games.
I'm pleased with the positive response we've had with this - I believe we can take it on to the next stage now, which is actually getting people to say "I'm in" or "I'm not". I believe we need some kind of makeshift forum for now, because we need somewhere to start off with proper discussion rather than idle TDC chat.
I've set up a temporary forum, hopefully an admin might frontpage-ise this:
There's nothing on it at the mo, but we can discuss numbers and actual nitty-gritty stuff here. Also, an IRC channel like Jenswa said would be a good idea; anyone know how to set one up?
Oh well, If you changed your mind about me i'd be happy to join, after all, you did say "Beginners at klik could learn off the more experienced of the group." i'm a beginner who could learn from more experienced people...
