Awesomeness, I've waiting for this game
Posted by DaVince 18th December, 2005

That title screen looks very Duke Nukem-ish.
Posted by Willy C 19th December, 2005

Yea I know, thinking the same thing
Posted by Hempuli 19th December, 2005

This is too simple for me...
Posted by Kai Proton 19th December, 2005

Fantastic Game,
I thought it was gonna be like Alien Breed, and it turned out to be more like Smash TV, Totally ACE.
Posted by Kai Proton 19th December, 2005

Played it again,

If it had a Multi Player it would be Amazing,
I see however that the Nature of the control mean it would have to be Online Multi player,

Posted by Joshtek 19th December, 2005

Multiplayer co-op? Yeah, that'd be great!
Posted by 19th December, 2005

looks cool, downloading...
Posted by Assault Andy 19th December, 2005

Really fun and professionally presented.
Posted by 19th December, 2005

this game is really cool, you got my GOTW vote
Posted by Windybeard Games 19th December, 2005

looks really good, like Smash tv. (which is one of my fav games!) GREAT STUFF
Posted by Zethell 20th December, 2005

Reminds me of Phobia II..

The title reminds me of DOOM2 or Duke Nukem thou..
Posted by Chrisbo 20th December, 2005

my only suggestion is to expand the actual level so that it scrolls, like in crimsonland. the current level seems too confined and hard to play in.
Posted by Tomssuli 21st December, 2005

The aliens in screenshots remind me very closely of alien breed games...
Posted by Monkey Soft 21st December, 2005

Yes... everyone knows the images remind Alien Breed, Smash TV, Duke Nukem, Doom blablabla...

But... has someone actually played it?

If you haven't done it yet, download this BETA 2!
Posted by stickboybob 21st December, 2005

this is great! could definatly use a storyline/levels though.
Posted by shftd 22nd December, 2005

I love top-down shooters! And I REALLY loved this awesome game! I don't think there is a need for a storyline, but it would be cool ! Anyway, great work! Hurry and fix them bugs and release the final version! I can't wait !
Posted by Tomssuli 23rd December, 2005

I downloaded it ...the mortalkombat-style commentator is fun "bloody hell" ...I love this shooter!
Posted by NaaCDudE 25th December, 2005

Thanks Tomssuli, I'm the artist of the game and also the man behind the Mk's voices. If you are english people can you say something about my pronounce? I must know if
it's quite good or mediocre. Thanks
Posted by Tomssuli 26th December, 2005

I don't find anything wrong with pronounciation... But I'm finnish so I might not hear the difference.
I wish there was a way to make this a coop game, it would be sooo great to splat some aliens with a friend

p.s. This is the first game of this type that I find as good as Alien Phobia!

oh dear, this gets very boring
Posted by NaaCDudE 3rd January, 2006

Zapdude your reviews are very boring...sadly boring and senseless
Posted by Zap{Zapdude Productions} 3rd January, 2006

I'm not going to get into an argument, I'm simply saying it's rubbish and repetitive. I've been am member of this site for almost 4 years so I think I know what I'm talking about.
Posted by Rik N 3rd January, 2006

Very well made. Amazingly pro looking, sounding and feeling. Sadly I have to agree that it could have had more scope. I hope the final game will have more to it than a single room. Voice acting was top too btw!
Posted by Monkey Soft 4th January, 2006

>The sound effects/ Voiceover will make you laugh, >although 80% are ripped off I'd say
They are not, my dear.

>I'd be impressed if this was a game still in it's beta test.
Are you able to read? It is written everywhere here and in the game that this is a beta... bah

Thanks for the review and for playing our game, anyway.

I would like to have highscores also listed by kills... now they go by points only... Or at least you could do some record thingy where would stand stats of "the best killer" (fragged most) and "the best survivor" (lasted the longest time)

I personally like to count kills rather than score, but the score thing is a nice addition into a game of this kind
Posted by Mike Haggar 17th January, 2006

Top notch presentation here, I'm sure that's apparent to everyone. As far as the gameplay, it's not half bad but I think it certainly could afford other additions. It sounds like you guys stole from the announcer from Mortal Kombat which suits the "mature" (tongue in cheek) theme. Since this game is a beta I think it achieves mostly what I would expect from one. Look forward to the full game Bloody Monkey!
