This is a demo of a fighting game I hope to finish in the future. I actually made it 6 months ago but then I didn't even know about the site. So here it is. Post anything you want about this demo from Constructive Critisicm to reviews. Remember this game is nowhere finished yet. Have fun!

The link doesn't work (and please add a screenshot or two as well).

That's weird. It worked earlier. I'll try to find another host for it. Okay I'll add a screenshot too.

It did work earlier, strange..

There's a screenshot for you.

The screenshot worked, but you might want to retype the word "Shuriken", you spelled it "Shruiken". The fighter graphics look alright, but they clash with the background a bit.

Okay. I'm doing that now. The problem with me is that I am a programmer, but I stink horribly at making graphics therefore need to use pre-made ones.

did u make the sprites yourself? Not that there great....just wonderin.

Like I said. I'm a terrible artist. No. They were used from the Multimedia Fusion Libraries.

Finally. After hours of searching I finally found a successful host. The link is now working!

i reviewed it. brace yourself though, i was kind of brutal again (hopefully helpful though also) i'm only judging it on how it is now - i'm not saying it won't be good when it's finished.

Thank you for your review. I know this kinda sucks and I've made MUCH better games. Good thing this is only in early stages of development. This is the time to change it before it becomes horrible. Now that I know how to put games into The Daily Click I can put my better ones onto here. The reasons I'm not currently working on Fighting Showdown is 1. Yes making good AI will be a very hard task and with my limited amount of time creating games, it will take a REALLY long time and 2. This game I cannot finish by myself. With such limited animations and textures.....it cannot be done with me alone. Maybe if I had a team it would be possible but currently....it's hopeless.

Yet I could probably make a 2 player fighting showdown with a traning mode...That part is possible for me. It's the enemy A.I that I'm stuck on.

Thanks!

Just to let everybody know, this game was scrapped a long time ago "about 6 months." I'm currently working on another one that uses the advice of Space Cadet. No more crappy built in platform engines. I'm creating my own and its really going well...I'll probably put this engine open source....
