This is my first review in a while. Presentation: Menu is functional. Plague is misspelt as 'Plauge' in the storyline. It has a nice little level selection just like mario (a cool touch). Gameplay: It really depends what you're after here. The movement isn't anything like Mario (this game was part of a competition to make a santa/mario game), but I don't really think that that is a problem. The movement is a little hard to get used to at first but is very functional. Overall I think the game actually has some really good gameplay, and feels less tied down to mario than Super Santa Snowland (the game that won first place in the competition). Graphics: The colours used give a nice retro feel to this game (especially the sections in the pipes, the black background is very effective). The graphics are very charming and....good. Sound and Music: This game has little or no music. I don't really see this as a problem. The sound effects are very retro and cool, except for the bloody annoying jumping sound! Lastability: This game has a decent length and due to its arcadey nature, you will be sure to come back to this later. Overall: I really think that this game should not be overlooked just because it came second. A great little game thoroughly worth downloading!
