Look at this...I'm reviewing a game that was a tribute to one of my games that was never finished! But it was only fitting for me to do so. When Jonny sent me the link to the game, I couldn't wait to load it up and play what I like to think of as "an alternate reality" to my abandonware, Moonstrike. But keep in mind this game was made under time constraints due to it being an entry in the Daily Click mini competition.

Presentation: Well, first off, the game was made in KnP, there's props just for that. I used KnP for almost 3 years until i finally switched over to TGF recently. But everything here is intact. Everything works as it should. I bet at least half you wouldn't have even guess this was made in KnP. I wouldn't have if he hadn't have told me. 10/10

Gameplay: Easy to learn, nearly-impossible to master. Okay so Shift switches the positon of your ship to either vertical ot horizontal. Each mode has a different attack. Both work flawlessly. Now this was a very hard catergory to rate because while I hate the fact that hitting a wall kills you in one hit, and it's so easy to die in this game...the game is only 3 levels long. And despite its insane difficulty it's one of those games that even after dying for the hundredth time in the last ten minutes...you just want to keep going. And chances are you make it further than the last time you played. Slightly flawed hit detection but this is only due to the KnP engine. TGF would've never made this mistake. But given the circumstances, it works extremely well. 9/10

Graphics: Nice effects for KnP. Due to KnP's limit to 256 colors, the game is not as vibrant as it should be but again working under the circumstances, you get nice fluid animations. 9/10

Sound and Music: What's there works. To be honest I can barely even remember there being music in the game. I'm pretty sure there was. But I know the sound fx are all there. 9/10

Lastibility: Some may disagree with me on this but I gave this game a 10/10 on lastibility. Like I said earlier, it's one of those games that gets you so determined to beat despite how difficult the game is. Like the Jonathan Smeby said, the game is not impossible. It's insanely hard (like a classic space shooter usually is), but not impossible. Although it's only 3 levels long, you could play it over and over. I bet after the first time you play it and after the first time you beat it, you'll look back and say, "Ha I wonder why I had such trouble on the first level? That wasn't so hard...", you know? Or not. I couldn't say...I haven't beaten it...yet.

Overall: Very good space shooter engine made in KnP. It definitely deserved its second-place position in TDC mini-competition. Actually, this is the game that got me making games again. And I know many of you will not like it because of its difficulty, but give this a try! 9/10
