At first glance this game looks like the worst thing ever. But it does have it's charm under all the bugs and bad graphics.

The story is a little too surreal for me to remember, but you are a black ant who was separated from the black colony and must fight the evil red queen ant.

So you start your journey outside controlling this small black ant. You ant cannot shoot or attack in any way (yet), but it can jump at least one millimeter up in the air, you can actually dodge enemy red ants this way. You can collect green pills for life and climb ladders that look like lettuce.

And there is a bug with the enemy red ants, it seems that when the author made the inverted animation, he/she forgot to change the hot spot and the ants will "warp" when they face another direction.

There is another bad bug when you must jump into a hole in a rocketship. If you happen to fall down, there is no way of going back up... the lettuce stairs dont work... UNLESS.. you use right wall and the "original platform movement stick to walls" bug to get up. Not good.

The graphics are really simple, something a little kid would do, but the ants are still kinda charming. Most of the text is done with generic text objects that sometimes are lost in the background, it is ugly. The music is ok.

The level design is slightly simple, but effective, once you get inside the anthill the levels get a lot more interesting. It's too bad that the controls and graphics are so bad, because the layout of the levels are pretty good and would make a fun game if somehow the bugs are fixed.

I really like the idea of a mix between an adventure/maze game with an antfarm, but the execution is very flawed and buggy. I'd give it a 4, but I think I'll reward some neat level design and ideas with an extra point.
