This game has no comments, and no reviews, so I decided to write one.

This game has great graphics, great sounds, everything is put together well and it all works out to be quite impressive in the end. Trouble is, that's all it is.

Hazards were originally designed to keep the player on his (or her) toes. Hazards are placed everywhere, but they're sneaky. There is the sound of crickets doing what ever it is they do to make the sound that they make. This represents inactivity. Then BOOM!!! you stepped on a land mine six pixels tall! The gap between hazards is about 4 seconds, I have the attention span of 3 seconds. This does NOT keep me on my toes.

Another problem, a tank pushed me into a land mine, and then I went back to the start of the game -1 life.

Game designers everywhere, listen! We reward our player for playing. Games should play with you, not at you. They should be newbie friendly, and get into the hard stuff later.

The element of the player being someone important, with a real life, to help the player escape from his (or her) pathettic life was there, but like I mentioned earlier, it wasn't easy. I don't want to be a dead super hero. I want to be a kick ass super hero. No one enjoys jumping over mines. That's no fun. I certanly don't enjoy losing lives because I wasn't sure what's going on. That was a concept taken from arcade games. I believe life systems make no sense what-so-ever.

My advice to you, is read my article entitled, "The Formulae for addiction", and my other article entitled "Progressive Levels"

I don't like giving a bad review to a game that has clearly had alot of effort put into it. Though, in the end, it isn't effort that counts.
