lets begin .... again

so here we are, at the beginning of a project again. ive been rather enjoying rediscovering the joy of click here, we now have:

a pretty much done custom movement engine which can handle moving platforms n' all. also the player no longer gets stuck in the walls

a totally new method of shooting pineapples which was the only method of attack in the original (there might maybe possibly be other weapons on the way for this version)
basically in the original pineapples would shoot out in random directions because that was all i knew how to do. meaning if you were to get anywhere in the game your ctrl button would be worn out by world 2! i remember an occasion actually where two people were controlling one piney with a ctrl button each!
now the pineapples actually come out in the direction the player is facing (gee whizz!) or rather, slightly upward then bounce then break. they bounce indefinitely off of powerups and the player. this could be useful for some trick shots and the like maybe even some puzzles too! oh also they rotate when they're in the air as well!

i suppose the decade of clicking will be noticable after all, heh.

Heh, after spending ages trying to work out how to use the PMO the bug turned out being the player had the built in platform movement on too.
Keep up the good work Piney.

nah, everyone gets stuck with silly bugs like that. Like when I couldn't work out why my object kept disappearing even though there were no events to make it get destroyed. It turns out the only animation frames it had were in the disappearing section, which automatically destroys the object after it plays. Took me AGES to work that one out.

I figured out the PMO on the first day. Well, I did look at the help file...

Anyways I can't wait for the new Piney!
