Project Overview
Preview Here's a game that's been through many iterations, starting as a vertical shootemup with a complete reversal on the story called "Jihad" (You can imagine) And ending up as a 3/4ths view arena shooter a la "Smash TV" or "Destruction Carnivale" (My favorite).

You are James "Tedsteven" Billjoseph, an american on a passing flight through the middle east. Your plane gets shot down over "terrorist country." A government agent onboard tells James the reason they were shot down is an experimental modular weapon that can fire any projectile through any filter is on board. It's now Billjoseph's responsibility to protect the gun from getting in the hands of the terrorists.

Your gun accepts 2 kinds of input: Projectile type and nozzle. Through this array many different weapons can be discovered. For instance, choose the flame projectile and the open nozzle for a flamethrower. Or, say, the concentrated nozzle and uranium for a high powered rifle.

This is all very pedestrian compared to the real trick the weapon can do. It has 1 slot for special modules that perform a widely varying amount of effects. Ever wanted to send a shockwave through a crowd of enemies that briefly confuses and enrages them causing a riot? Or maybe stop time and queue up a wall of bullets infront of your enemy's face (Or just drag his statue-like body into a moving vehicle)? Maybe you prefer super strength, where you run faster and can grab enemies for human shields before tossing them like bricks at other enemies. Be on the look-out for the earth, wind, water, fire and heart modules. The power is yours!
