Project Overview
Preview Paint My World is a platformer puzzle game, you as the main character must complete different objectives given to you within a level.

These objectives consist of changing your colour and painting certain tiles different colours, destroying enemies, saving babies and other such tasks.

The game is initially being made into 4 different episodes.

Each episode will be released for Flash, shortly followed by an iOS release.

After these episodes are complete, a full PC version will be made complete with a campaign mode / different mini games / and a fully fledged working map editor.

First created trailor for the game - although old, still gives a good insight (the game holds a lot more polish now)

Title Screen - GDC - World Map
Posted 4th Mar 12, by Spike! Post A Comment
About time I started to actually use this I think

Right well we finally got around to creating a title screen - Setting up the world map - and getting a version of the game off to clickteam for the GDC.

We are now doing a total of 45 levels for the first episode and things are going well, we are at that final stretch for release

Although each time we get a wave of testers testing the game we find another 100 game breaking bugs

Thus is the way of life

We have also managed to optismise the flash version a LOT, and the game runs sooo much smoother.

As a first log - This project is well under-way.

Majority of the entirity of the first episode is complete. The only remaining areas to add now is full achievement and shop implementation, and then menu screens.

*Current Tasks*

* The world map needs to be completed, and art needs to be created for it.

* The main menu needs to be created properly

* Credits screen needs to be produced

The game will then run into a short beta test for the first episode of the game.

I plan to use this log to keep up-to-date references to the game for the future. This will help us keep sight of our goals and let those who want to know a bit more about the game, know a bit more
