The Weekly Click #15

I know I know - another late TWC. I've been adding a few new updates to the site and kind of forgot about TWC again, so I've added it here 3 days late! The Weekly Click will continue to be on a Sunday however, so keep checking the front page.

Firstly, some site updates..
  • The buddies system has been coded again from scratch, and you can now add and delete buddies via your admin panel. Your buddies list basically provides you with easy links to your buddies, who you might want to send a message to on a regular basis (or check out their profile).
  • Some new emoticons have been added to the site, which are just thumbs up and down (click here for a full list).
  • The site now keeps track of which messages you have and haven't read. So you can be made aware when you receive a new message.
  • New skins, SilverNova's Rustic Skin and SilverNova's Navy Skin have been added to the skins list - they're probably my favourite skins so far. I'll be adding a few more of SilverNova's skins in the future (so keep checking the skins page).

    • And in other news..

  • Vortex has announced that he will be re-designing Klik Academy - which is good news. The site was fairly popular when it arrived, but activity has slowly died down, so it'll be nice to see it running more actively after the re-design is complete. Thanks to Axel for this news.   • Click Convention 2007 tickets are now available for purchase. Tickets for adults are just £12, while tickets for a child and parent are just £15. You'll see some regular faces there, including our very own Chris Street (I think he is going anyway..)! Click here for more information.

  • Although this isn't really news, nor is it probably of any interest to you, James has posted some possible box-art images for Tormishire. Obviously, the game is shareware and will be initially released on DVD as far as I am aware. Also, they arn't really box-art images - they just show the sides of the cases.. So yeh.. Oh, he also says he has juicy news for next week - so yeh..Click here for more information.

    The buddy system doesn't work well yet. I tried adding "Phredreeke", got returned to the main page, and he wasn't added.

    DaVince you made Firefox look like IE with those many links, that searchbar-like toolbar below your Developer toolbar and those many status bar items!

    Tim's Navy skin FTW! The download button needs a transparent background... it doesn't look nice on a skin with a non white background...
