An Apology of an Update
News posted 2nd February, 2007 by David Newton (DavidN)
Right, I'm really sorry about this - I've no idea what's happened to the updates recently. I know it's been about a fortnight since any games were frontpaged, and there were certainly some deserving ones. I think some of the other admins are busy with university exams, and I myself have been working all week and being terrorized by some LEDs. To make up for the site's name being quite so ironic recently, here's a list of the highlights:

Get A Life 1 and Get A Life 2 by Tom Cashman - Sort of minigame-based adventures, the first of which was made in TGF years and years ago.

Talmin II by Craig Tait - RPGish-adventure-Legend of Zelda game with some men in hats.

Teatons Simulator Demo by Jonathan Smeby - More of the kind of lunacy that you'd expect from both the Teatons series and Jonathan Smeby.

Weird Colony by Shroomlock - Really, have a look at this. It appears to be incredible. It's another of Shroomlock's online games.

HEREDITY by Nudlez - This is a screensaver that sort of builds on the idea of Conway's Life - it simulates an ecosystem. Isometrically.

Sirius2650 by Keegi - A Star Control-inspired 2-player spaceship game.

Pling 4 Pack by PhreddySE - A collection of four old games, reworked and rereleased.

Pointless 2 - The Re-Disappearing by SilverNova - Yet another hidden mouse pointer puzzle/skill game to irritate you to death and be very polished about it while it's at it.

Unfortunate Climber by KevinHaag - And finally another screensaver - this time about watching a man trying to climb a building against an onslaught of boulders.

They could have made those things look more like Shake or Meatwad. Then nobody would have panicked.

Thanks for mentioning my game(s), Wong. You're a cool dude.
