Old Games
News posted 29th June, 2006 by David Newton (DavidN)
After the news post yesterday, I remembered about a couple of other games that I meant to frontpage but never got around to doing. The first is a dungeon crawl in the style of the old AD&D games called Undertown, written by Del Duio five years ago.

Comments from the Author: Undertown. A big ol' castle that just so happens to have a two level catacomb directly below it. Or, at least that's all I ever MADE for this game, that is! This is the final game of the "Home Computer Backlog Series", as I HAVE no more old games that are any good that are left on my computer!

And another game that I said I would put up is Freddie the Frog, a platformer that was made an indeterminate length of time ago by purveyor of engines and fangames DistantJ.

Comments from the Author: This is my first ever original game, brought back to you with some bug fixes. It is dated by today's standards, but it's as interesting and thoughtful today as it always was.

Only one day to go!

If it looks familiar, I used some enemy pictures from Undertown for Equin Village too. It's not ripping if it's your own I guess!
