What are all the donations spent on?

Posted by ShadowCaster 15th December, 2003

The cost of hosting + the cost of the domain.

Boy, we are really getting alot of denations latly, I'm not used to it! :-D Thanks, I started getting a bit worried if The Daily Click would get enough for 2004, but at the rate we just started going, we should have enough to contiue.

I'm really insterested to know what the average donation is *wink wink*, and how much of it ends up being spend on hosting and domain costs. Like, do you usually get more than enough, about enough, or less than enough? :D

It varies. Usually we just make budget or fall a bit short (I dont mind paying the difference). Actually since I changed to the new host, the cost of running DC has gone down, but since we havent come up to a payment yet (except for the first years payment, which I paid for myself) I cant say with certainty. As far as how much goes towards hosting + domain; all of it does. In terms of average donation, most people give us $5, but many donate more than that. So technically the average would be around the $10 mark. (*g) Mike (*b)
