In gotw.... are we supposed to be able to vote for our own games? I accidentally clicked a vote for my entry into the compo, Thod III, and realised the error here. Voting for your own game is a good way to cheat.... slightly.

And yeh, I'm an honest man, so if an admin is reading this, one of those votes for my game is mine, so if it's not allowed, then you may discount that one vote

Yeah, but it's only 1 vote and I know others do it too, but seriously, who do you think presidential candidates vote for?

Anybody remember the movie "Election," where the guy voted for his opponent and lost by one vote? Anyway, I think that you should be able to vote for your own game in GotW, but not be able to vote thumbs up or review it.

You should still be able to review it, just so we can laugh at the people who do.

Legitimately, everyone is entitled to a vote (although more sensibly you should play all the GOTW candidates first to see which is best), and in my view you can use that how you want - including voting for yourself.

Actually what we need is ip voting so the poll is limited to one vote per ip address so people wont cheat.

Every so often there should be a "George W Bush" week, where the game with less votes wins anyway.
