James Bulger was a toddler who was kindapped by these two evil little fuckers and tortured until he died, then they put his body on a railway track to make it look like an accident. One of the boy's dad had rented Child's Play 3, so obviously, the media being so niave, chose to blame the killings on that, because it's a scientifically proven fact that kids can't be evil. Like Hitler was probably a very nice child, but soon as he turned 18, he suddendly thought "Genocide, that sounds like a good idea..."

"Do you know the story, have you ever sat down, close the curtins and turned off the lights in your room and played manhunt and finished it? I didnt say manhunt was the gratest game ever, but it sure dont suck!"

I own the game. I hate it.
LOL @ the thought of you closing your curtains and turning the lights off to play a computer game.

PS - I respect your opinion, bla bla, etc...

It's best to think of Manhunt as less of a game, and more as just entertainment.
Sure, it's not got brilliant gameplay, but the fun factor is cool. Breaking people's heads with a baseball bat of hacking their heads off with machetes makes me feel happy. I'm talking about in game by the way, I'm 21, the game can't corrupt my strong, adult mind.

I'm not suprised. Here in Sweden they banned Darkwing Duck from TV. Reason? Too violent...

Its hard to be religious when certain people are never incinerated by bolts of lightning.

Yeah, I mean that red one, it was a subliminal message for all kids to become Satanists.

Oh and Pete, I hope you didn't buy the Daily Mail to read that headline

all that 'evil games and movies telling kids to do things' is bull. i mean, if it worked with that, it should've worked with the episode in barney where they tell you not to let the water run while you brush your teeth. i don't think one kid on earth listened to that, except those kids on the show. hell, if i had a huge, purple t. rex asking me to brush my teeth, i'd brush the damn things twice.

Violent computer games are used as a scape goat once again. It annoys me when the headlines do this; they don't understand computer games and they assume all games are for children.
