Okay, I know I'm new but a friend told me to sign up and post my issue here.

Okay so I'll start by saying that my cousin was involved in an accident that ended up with him being paralysed and relies on a wheelchair to get around.

As a result, he can't do much by himself. Well anyway, I went with my family to visit them and they all went out, leaving me and him alone in the house. Obviously it was my responsibility to help him with anything he needed.

It turned out we were out of his favourite ice-cream... what the heck, the stores just a few blocks a way, I might as well drive down and get it, amongst other things... so I made sure he was okay being by himself for 10 minutes whilst I drove to the store. He assured me he was fine.

When I came back, however, all was not fine. The door had been broken down and a window smashed. I found my cousin sprawled on the floor, his wheelchair knocked over... the TV was missing, the hi-fi... the house had been robbed and my cousin had witnessed all of it.

Obviously, both his parents and my parents are furious at me for leaving the house and put the blame solely on me! Surely this isn't fair... I feel so guilty though.

Sorry for coming straight in with this, but I don't feel like talking this out face to face with many people yet and my friend suggested this place.

Sorry, but this isn't the greatest place to post this, this is after all, an amateur (or however it's spelt.) game making community.

But im gonna try and answer this the best I can.

But to get a better answer, say WHERE THE CRAP DO YOU LIVE? Are you in the roughest ghetto in the roughest city in america? And, how old is your cousin, If he is over 13, I dont think many of us would see a problem in leaving our immobilized relatives alone, but I think you should've stayed if he was under that age group.

I feel sorry for this to happen to you, I would and I bet many others would feel the same if this tragidy had struck us, but since you WERE assigned to be with him at all times, does give them the ability to put blame on you, but who in their right mind would expect a robbery... In a 10 minute time frame between leave and return.

I honestly cant give a full opinion about it, but I think that since all is done, and if he isn't badly injured or something, If your cousin had witnessed the man, he might get a glimpse of what he looked like, and for an unorganized robbery like that, I dont think the criminal would have prepared heavily, like full coverage of body, and such.

And that is all I can say.

Ahh, that would suck. Well, you were responsible for him, but it's not your fault his house was broken into. Although you *possibly* could have stopped the robbery if you had been there, you also may have been hurt. This is one of those "screwed if you do, screwed if you don't" situations. What matters the most though is that you were doing something for him(getting IceCream), which means you had good intentions. My advice would be to talk it over with him, and ask forgiveness, since he was the one that was hurt. Then vow never to bring him icecream again!

Seriously though, since he was the one that was hurt, his oppinion is the only one that matters. Your parents blame you, but chances are that your parents are looking for someone to blame, because they feel guilty about leaving you two alone.

Well, the one thing I must ask though is: Was there any permanent damage? All things fade with time, but "permanent" things never fully go away, and you have to learn to live with them.

Tomorrow when you wake up, think things over. Talking with your cousin is the only way to make this better.

You got to get revenge on this bastard!

if you ever find that wank, switch to vigilante mode and disable his ass.

Some helpful revenge ideas:

Pour piss into his AC intake on his car.

Fill a ping pong ball (or condom or balloon) with crystal drano, and put it in his gas tank. the ball (or balloon) will dissolve in the gas and a chemical reaction will occur when the drano touches the gas, causing his car to blow up.

if you put bologna on his car when it's parked in the sun, the paint will come off, leaving polka dots.

ANFO (Ammonium nitrate / fuel oil) is a bomb you can make with ammonium nitrate fertilizer and diesel fuel. It produces it's own oxygen which is a plus.

Equal parts of frozen orange juice concentrate and gasoline will make napalm

if you find out his address, sign him up for junk mail and porn

GODDAMN I HATE IDIOTS LIKE THAT WHO STEAL!!!!!!!!!

go get 'em slugger.

I would say its your fault IF you left him to like go to a mates house but if you were going out of your way to get him hes favourite ice cream thats different, i dont think you should be blamed and even if it was you and him there the same thing might have happened, you cant prevent everything from happening. and who would know that in 10 minutes of leaving the house youre gonna get robbed?

If you have a time machine, you could go back in time and lock the door.

But since you don't, get revenge on the parents. It wasn't your friend's fault he got mugged. It's the parents' fault for blaming you.

More ideas for revenge:
-ducttape all the doors shut
-create a fake virus(or real one if you prefer) on the parents' computers
-clog the exhaust pipes of the parents' cars with acorns and bubble gum
-spread lots of oil on the drive way: they'll slip on it and maybe it'll blow up
-let 50 cows loose in the houses(there'd be barely any room to walk around)
-Chinese water torture
-add lots of salt to their drinks
-and of course, the classic TP. Nobody would expect you to TP your own house.
