as the post title might imply.. im having some issues...LOL
I am not your 1337(leet) TGF expert.. infact i have been clicking for abot 2 and a half months now.

I got viruses.. i formatted my HDD's.. i reinstalled everything.. now TGF shows a transparency when i capture images that have certian shades of gray. not just one shade but a few.. so if there is pixel differences.. to add lighting.. its all transparent.

Also when i use the picture editor in the custom backdrop editor.. or the sprite editor.. TGF and my puter will crash if i use the FILL solid square and circle tools.. but only when filling with trans....

WTF?

finialy.. i have TGF unregistered.. so i got the update.. and it says that TGF is not installed on my PC.. when it is infact at C:\GFactroy\Gfact32.exe So what the hell is wrong with this thing.. The editor always crashed on me but the transparencything.. what the hell is that?

Any clues anyone?

Keeper

I managed to run TGF ok on my Windows 98 SE back when I had TGF, but you should probably get MMF, it's newer and has been updated to work properly on all computers.
Try virus scanning too.

Strange, I have an even slowed computer with Windows 98se and mine works fine, and has for the past 7 years even!

Oh, have you updated to the latest version of TGF?
