I've been hard at work creating this still in the making game. So far, you're able to build walls and lay down floors. I'm making a level editor first, so I can easily create the levels later on
I'm really pleased with the grid system (thanks to tigs!) you can see a screen of the iso game at:
 http://www.kramy.net/ClickArt/isoeg2.jpg

in the game you'll eventually be able to run a small cafe and manage it. You'll be able to build tables, chairs, counters, hire staff and manage the stockroom (this will be done in a separate room in another frame by clicking on a door in the main cafe frame)

let me know what you think and any ideas for this game will be greatly appreciated!

Graphically it looks very interesting, the concept also seems good. I would really like to see this game when its done.

Well, a sim cafe idea would be a nice little game I though.. and doing it in iso is the best would to make a game like this. of course it will take time to make it into a game. I'm busy creating the basic objects, once they are done I can then go into more detail with them and also go into detail on how the game runs. The level editor right now seem really basic. But when the level editor is completed, it will have a lot of objects to insert, walls to choose from and floors. Plus you'll be able to set your max loan amount, and generally set the level options. I'm also going to make it possible where you can right info in the objectives screen. I'd love to make it possible where the user can insert their own user created objects.. but that might be a little messy.. its very possible though! The one major downfall to this game is the tiny map!!! 12x12 grid is kinda small but thats the limitations you'll have to work around. Has anyone got any suggestion on thing I should let the player be able to do in the game? Anything any of you guys want in the game?

I might be able to provide you with a scrolling system for the grid. I'm not sure if it would be compatible though.(never tried iso)
