Just wait for your game to be added ... it will be there soon I think.

Paul (Heretic Emu Studios): "...it would seem more reasonable to have everything automatically accepted and then delete offending items later...".

I dont agree. First of all it will most likely never be so, as noone really wants to hear about changes to TDC. Secondly because if you could add a download without control it would be abused quicker than you could spell to "icecream". Which would mean more work to admins that had to delete piles of crap. Which would mean we would drown in even more unwanted stuff. Meaning good games would disappear totally in the mess. Keep it as it is ... this is one good thing as it is.

Actually I added it a few minutes ago.

As all levels of ability should be tolerated on the TDC, the only reason I can see to delete a game rather than add it is because it has an invalid link (after waiting for the author to reply and correct it first) or if it's deemed inappropriate. So it's to prevent abuse, as Cybermaze said.

As for changes to TDC, as I've said time and time again that's not the responsibility of the admins.

i wouldn't have a problem with either method, obviously some games will slip through the net which we end up having to delete later on, so we do sort of employ both methods anyway. if a game isn't up to scratch i just add a note on the page and wait for the author to edit it, i rarely delete them.

IF YOU DON'T SPECIFY A URL THEN IT GETS NOT ACCEPTED BY THE ADMINS. (err... try it in lowercase )

Well, you can still edit the game details and enter a working link. If you don't have a webpage start finding one There's a link with "Hosting" in the TDC menu which sends you to www.click-webhosting.com

It took one week for one of my games to be accepted, so be patient.

Paul: Yeah, games are RARELY rejected, basically admins just update information that was entered incorrectly (i.e. people like to enter download sizes of 100kb when it's actually like 2mb in order to get more clicks :\ And sometimes people do double-line breaks instead of just one for the screenshots).

So it's more for the admins to fix submissions before they appear on the site, rather than "rejecting" them outright.
