I love platformers, so its really hard to decide. But, I really like ED, Tops 3, Sleep Dreams, Egghead, Watkins...*goes rambling on for a few days, without stopping to drink or eat.*

ED is more of an RPG, not an action plat which is
what I assume is being searched for.

Dark War 2 is probably the best.
But Fishhead 3 is about as refined and fun a platformer as you will find on DC. No matter how much crap people say about it. Dark War is really the only thing better.
Yes, Fishhead 3's pretty good. I also rather liked Furry, which was posted here recently... and tha tone by Spram, what was it called? Hyper Quadrant, that's it.
The best platformer was Dark War 2. It is the only click game which had interesting (and dynamic) platform movement. I don't like games which has simple platform movements (like ED, Fishhead - OMG, Tops, Watkins, Entrance Gate).

Also Streambolt had very nice platform engine, but the whole game wasn't so good at all.
