*The* Chris Street Administrator Unspeakably Lazy Admin Registered 14/05/2002 Points 48487	19th December, 2003 at 11:07:01 - This is a titchy competition for those who don't really want to make a Winter sports game for the main Daily Click competition. Basically, you will have until the 23rd December (next Tuesday), at 10PM GMT, to create a little Christmas platform game. The graphics, sound, and engine don't have to be original, but I'll be judging the game on how fun it is, and on how Christmassy it is! HOWEVER! Maximum file size must be up to 900KB in size. Anything over will not be accepted...not even a 901KB game! It also MUST have FOUR or more levels...again, anything less will not be accepted for consideration. Boss fights do not count as a level. Anyone who wants to enter a game can do so by making it, and submitting the download link here. Do not e-mail me about this, or try and send it privately. Only links posted HERE will be valid entries. The best game will get onto the front pages of DC, and the winner shall recieve 10 DC points courtesy of Mike "Scrooge" Hadzic. I shall award these points on behalf of him, as he doesn't know anything about this little competition at the time of writing Older games cannot be submitted, and neither can any of the games submitted for last years Christmas Competition be accepted. If you want to do this, good luck, if not, then bah humbug! Btw, this competition is not intended to replace Pete Mattresses main Daily Click competition, its just a little thing for you to do until Christmas. The 2nd level may be messed up you know the tile layings and stuff because that was the first stage i ever made on that engine but the 3rd 4th and 5th stage are pretty good oh yea and the 4th stage is extremely hard. Oh yea since there's no instuction thing on his game (sorry didn't make one) press ctrl to fire candy canes hold down and press ctrl to throw explosive presents and shift to jump pretty simple huh. MMF can really piss u off sometimes. For some reason when i import my .gam into MMF from TGF, the health meter (which is a coustom animation counter) dissappears and i have no freaking clue where i went. Does anyone know what the hells wrong? Oh well, you'll just have to keep track yourself. You can basically take 4 hits. Each health pack restores 2 points of health, and your character makes a little squeak when he gets hit . I'm writing this as i upload my file to freewebs. Holy shit they're slow... I just realised just how shoddy and cheezy the menu interface is in my own game, not to mention the, ah, "story".
