yah, im no custom engine pro, but you need a couple more detectors. theres a good open source custom engine which tells you, run a DC search for it.

Try Circy's latest platform engine that's pretty good, other than that: make your detectors higher and closer to the person than the steepness of the slopes. If you know what i mean .
Make 2 more side detectors that are dots in the middle (bottom-ish) of the left and right detectors a line between the bottom one and this side one should be the angle of your slope or else it won't work. So in the events, make 'bottom detector' and 'slope detectot right' (the dot an the right)are overlapping background, move
characters position to x+1 AND y-1 (or whatever the amount the slope is)
the character will now move diagonaly up and right when on a slope, just tweak the events to suit like maybe x+2 y-1 for example. Hope that helps
