I wanted to write some articles get my rating up a little, i posted 2, compared to other peoples articles not many people have read mine, and not many people have comented.
Are my articles cr*p ?
Is it the subject that has scared people away?
should i write more or should i give it up and settle for being a normal member?
From last I remember articles give you the least amount of dc points, submit games 0_o and no crappy games... try to submit one every week! then you will get up there really quick! NO CRAP!
about your articles... what do you want more praise? I took a look at the first one and every one said good things about it, what more do you want?
Porting games everyweek, hum... I dont like releasing things that are crappy. I have uploaded a few games that might be considerd crappy but all of which i thought were good at the time they were listed. Next game i upload is going to be a gotw shot, i dont wanna just rush and post rubbish. Making a good game can take months but I can write a article in a hour so it seemed like a good thing to do.

You must not have looked at the second one, didnt have one comment on it
Er, anyway, your articles are very well written - problem is, I don't think many people know enough about skins and so on to want to try them out. So I think that yes, it is the subject that's scaring people off.

You shouldn't care about your rating, and especially don't post crap to get it up. Your articles aren't crap, but you have to select the right topic and the right writing. Your writing is good, but i think it's the topics. Try to write an article on new things, like if a new object has come out, or you have discovered a new technique that you want to share.
