Ok...when ever I try to use the Background system box object and then make a scrolling platformer, all the platforms disappear and the backgrounds start to mess up. Also if I play any other games that use them (tutorials) they don't function aswell, if anyone can help, thanks.
Do you mean the way System Boxes paste onto the background when you scroll? If so, you can fix this by creating a background system box object the colour of the background and placing it over the entire level (at the very back of every other object). That way the objects above it wont paste onto the background.
