Yeah, the only way that such viruses spread is because the Internet is filled with idiots. Didn't anyone ever learnt that you never should open any unsollicited email which contain attachments?
Some people completely ignore how computers or the Internet work at all. If you're somehow clever (and don't wander too much around warez and crack sites) and have some decent antivirus software, you probably won't get any virus of any kind.

i agree with max and paul, its common sense not to open attatchments from strangers. even from your friends, if you get an .scr file without asking for it, you dont bloody open it.

Unless you happen to be a screensaver-loving hobo who dances upon the stones of anarchy and despair, that is.

No dude, the attachments are .scr files. Meaning they're screensavers. Don't take things so personally.

Many people who play computer games have well-developed hands, and this allows them to play with themselves for hours.
(I might have made a typo there, can someone check that for me?)

I am looking for ways on bouncing back e-mails with new names & junk, so that if I get sent a virus, its attament name will be changed along with the subject, & the e-mail will be sent back to the person who sent it to me. They open it, they get there own virus. See many virus makers are so dumb that they make viruses they can't even control! Meaning if they get it bounced back to them, they have no control over it & its over for them. They know just about as much about deleting it as we do. Because they really don't give a crap how easy it is to delete, they just want the virus to be as bad as it can be! In other words, not knowing how to delete it themselfs.

Yeah, viruses always pop up. I always virus scan downloads I get online (not from emails...if it's someone I don't know I delete it).
