All DC points do is give you a rating, but that rating means nothing, because someone could someone 5 crap games, and get a higher rating, whereas a more expirienced person would submit 1 good game, and stull have a low rating.

DC points really just show how much a person likes to submit stuff to DC. Not a nice was to rate things, because you could submit dumb stuff & get a high rating, but thats where DC points go bad, people go crazy over something that makes no sence & end up getting banned.
I though enjoy my DC rating, because I've been here for about 1 year & I've worked hard to inprove my gaming skills, my rating... kind of shows that, it gives people a hint to look into my profile & find very nicely done games, from bad to good.
In a way, if DC points where used currectly & not given as prizes, they can get people to go into there profile & find many good articals, games, links, reviews, & so on.
Here, yes the DC Competition uses them in a good way. They give points to ONLY the people that worked hard & were able to get as good enough game to win. Other then that, DC points should not be given as prizes, unless the winning standereds are quite high, & games submited are really high quality...

You should be able to spend the points and stuff.
Like for 30 points you get to delete one item that has been submitted to the dc by anyone. 60 points you get to delete one member or your choice. 100 points and you get to delete an admin of your choice, 1000 points and you gain ownership of the entire site. 1,000,000 points and you gain ownership of circy's house, car and other items.
For 500 DC-Points you should get a bumper sticker, just like v-cade used to do. Yay. Can my bumper sticker have Circy on it? I have real problems with cats in my garden.
