I haven't reviewed anything on this site since a very long while (I think my last review was done at the end of last year) and decided I'd start reviewing stuff again. However, by doing so, I just noticed that the reviews must have now 1500 characters or less or else they're refused.
What's the deal with this limit? I don't recall it being here back when I wrote reviews and I find it kinda irritating, since I don't find that 1500 characters is enough to write a decent, detailled review of a game (most of my past reviews went over the 1500 characters limit for sure, maybe even the 2000 characters limit at times  ).
Could anyone tell me when was this limit put on? I do miss the ability of being able to write long, detailled reviews.

It's not a limit; it's the REQUIRED amount... you can of course write more, but it has to be more... then the 1500' or what ever it is.

Yep, it's a MINIMUM not a MAXIMUM. It was put there because many people were complaining that people were abusing the reviews section just to write "THIS GAME SUX!" which, I think you'd agree, isnt a review.

Fuzzy: Usually when people do that I get sent a private message about it, and I delete it. If you notice any that have so far escaped radar, be sure to inform me (or one of the other admins) and we'll take care of it (and remove some extra DC points from the users account for wasting our time  ).

Admins should look over reviews & have the abilty to delete them easyly, because if people wanted to, they would just type "THIS SUCKS" over 500 times, just to go over the Min. level. 
Opps, did I just give someone an idea. 
Well that would be a reasion to be band from DC anyway.
