That rule was implemented on GOTW #26 (and so active on the #27 GOTW). I guess betas don't come under demos (or they sneaked in somehow).

If you had been here long enough you would know the answer to that. Just after Terminal Orbit, Shadowcaster gave a message saying We do not accept demos as GOTW anymore starting from now, so Terminal Orbit just made it.

But then you see these BETA games, well Tremor 4 Tournament isn't a demo, it is a BETA, so is Wacky World, One Step From Reality isn't a demo or a beta, it is the first part of the One Step From Reality series, which was cancelled shortly after its release.

But I must agree some of it is messed up like what Daniel just said...

What I actually said back when this rule was implemented was that demos wont be accepted for the GOTW unless there arent enough full version games to make a decent sized poll.

I deleted your comment because of the language you used.

Paul: AGAIN, it helps if you read what I say. I said right from the beginning that I wouldnt accept demos unless there wasnt enough full version games to make at least 5 or so options.

Bloody hell, I'm sick of people who have nothing better to do than to criticise without knowing all the facts. Stop trying to pass yourself off as someone who knows everything, and who is the difinitive source of knowledge, I'm sick of it.
