Clickteam Fusion 2.5+ Addon is on sale until July 9 for 25% off. I'm thinking about getting it before the Summer Sale is over.
So, I'm posting this here for anyone else who may be interested.

I'd say it is still worth it, but whether or not you should get it at that price is really up to your personal circumstances, i.e. how much money you have, how much time you spend Clicking, how much you would use the new features, and how much you value your time.

The upgrade includes enhancements to performance and development ease and code maintenance including the Profiler, sub-events, and 260 named alterable values and strings per object. If you think the improvements would make your development easier or make your game run better then that will help save you time and effort as you'll waste less time trying to achieve the same result. As such, if you value your time highly then the sooner you get the upgrade then the sooner you will start benefiting from it. On the other hand, if you only make games once in a blue moon and don't have much money, you can save up for next time it is on sale as there probably aren't project you can't be working on in the meantime.

The only thing that bugs me a little is these are features the competition already has built-in. You basically pay quite a lot to make the software more or less in line with 2020. I love CT and I know they have make a profit with something, but I wonder how many people will actually go for this model.
