Does anyone out there Claim DLA???

My wife has Breast Cancer, and although the Operation to Remove it went well, it has left were Quite Disabled with day to day tasks,

she applied for DLA, and was knocked back, now Appealed and knocked back again.

But the Things on the form that are rates as needed for DLA, she has, like Difficulty Getting about, and Washing and dressing.

If you can prove that you have to take time to care for her, you may be allowed to claim a carer's allowance (it's unlikely considering the DLA appeal was rejected).

Unfortunately, the difficulties your wife has may not under current rules qualify; is the nature of her condition long-term or likely to get better? If it's the latter they will probably reject the claim.
