Any one got any experience with connecting the Wiimote to the PC ?
I did it last night, and Also Got the Mouse to work Via the NumChuk,
But this was on my PC, and I wanted it on my Laptop, as its the Laptop I use on the TV so we can watch Movies,
however, I dont have a Remote control so I figured Wiimote..
it connected OK withthe bluetooth, then the Program I found On google, let be assign the buttons,
this was ok,, then While I was coping the Needed Viewing Material to Pendrive to watch the laptop went to sleep and so did the Wiimote,, Since then it wont reconnect to the laptop, works fine with the WIi I used in on goldeneye about 5mins after, ad again tonight, Tried again nothing,
The reason I need it to work is so My other half can use it, as she pleads Stupidity when faced with the ol' Laptop, but a wii controller would be no problem...
anyone tried / had better success with it ?

You pressed the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time when you wanted to connect it to your computer right? Pressing those buttons together when the Wii Remote is off puts it into bluetooth discovery mode, then you just pair it with your laptop. I used to connect mine to my phone all the time.

Rule of thumb: Bluetooth doesn't work. 
But since there are exceptions to every rule, we keep trying. All sorts of things can cause issues with connecting a Wiimote to a PC. Your windows version can mess it up, your bluetooth stack can mess it up, the quality of the bluetooth dongle, the connection method, and so on and so forth.
If you're using Windows' built-in Bluetooth stack, you might have to go into the Device Manager and uninstall it and reinstall it every time you want to connect. There's a tool that will occasionally make the process easier (though not always): http://www.wiimoteproject.com/bluetooth-and-connectivity-knowledge-center/wiimoteconnect-0-6-(support-for-autoconnect)/ I believe it's that one.
Also, if you're using GlovePIE, I believe there are a couple of options you can try to enable auto-connecting when it senses the wiimote in pairing mode.
Hope you have more consistent success than I've ever had.

Thanks for your Comments Guys,
Both my PC and Lappo are running Win7 Ultimate, I only have one Bluetooth Dongle, a big old one, about the size of a pen drive,
I will try again tonight I think, With the Uninstall and reinst,
and Im gonna look up that prog too, thanks OldmanClayton for that,
and I didnt know that 1+2 did the reconnect, Ive been pressing the Connect button inside the battery cover,
