Ok, this might sound a bit noob, but back in my day of TGF and the original MMF, if you wanted to run an extension, you copied the file into your extension folder, run the app, and your away.

Now I can't seem to install any extensions?!?!

I've tried with MMF2 trial, and Full Version (NOT WORKING) and MMF2 Developer trial (NOT WORKING)

copied both extension and runtime files into my MMFX runtime or extension directories

Am I doing something really noob here or what?

=[!!

if im not mistaken you cant install any extensions on the trial version.

in the full version you need to copy any and all files/directories into your mmf2 directory.

that could includes the "extensions" and "data" directories. some extensions also have help and example directories but are not neccessary for the extension to be loaded and/or used.

you also should be using the most up to date version of mmf2, r249. if you arent then you wont be able to use most extensions as newer extensions require an up to date version.

If you have the full version just use fusion updater. Only extension I have had to install manually was overlay redux.
