I think it's amazing. The cat is still my absolute favorite part. Also, I can't help but to notice that almost every movie Tim Burden seems to make, is both an acid trip, and contains a main character with a completely white face complexion. Anyone else notice that or is it just me?

Lol, Tim Burton's cast is always the same. And his style is pretty much the same as well.

I like Tim Burton's style for some things, not for others. He's sort of like Peter Molyneux

I actually really like the new Willy Wonka quite a lot As for people complaining that his style is the same... so what? Of course it's the same, he's not going to change it- most artists rarely ever do. It's the stories and themes that change.
He's made some good movies and all that jazz. Nightmare Before Christmas is just continually eaten up by goth/emo/scene (wtf are you people these days anyway) teens and they will hype and make a fuss about each hair that grows on his head.
But yeah.. I've had a look at this new Alice In Wonderland and it looks pretty cool. Quite creepy. As if the original animation wasn't already a creepy LSD trip.
Watched the trailer again, thinking maybe it was my mood. It wasn't. Scenes look empty, designs uninspiring, and Mad Hatter as a hero? I don't know, I haven't read the book, so I don't know what he's going off of.
I wrote a whole bunch of other crap about Tim Burton's movies but it's not worth it. I've had a little realization and I'm not a fan. Used to be inspiring, at least, but now his style actually seems lazy, like he doesn't really think about the context. It all looks like death and clowns mixed together.
