Hey all, this is my first post here and the forum looks like loads of fun, so i thought i'd show off some of my recent stuff to get into the community ^-^
Top one and bottom one are sort of unfinished, but theyre still cool Hope ya like em.
I don't see why you two are so surprised about it being MS Paint. It's one of the best three pixel art programs out there. The only thing tedious about using MS Paint is the lack of layers, but that can be solved by opening a new document.
Very nicestuff, Dirteater. The turtle is especially cool. Do you only do isometric art?
Something about pixel art in MSPaint is just full of tedium to me. I must be crazy, but the pencil tool just drives me nuts and having to customize the small palette is a pain.
depends what it is the person wants made, i do charge per piece and as im amature at this i dont really charge all too much, seeing as were all in the indie scene, money doesnt float out of our ass's unfortunatly

I know this is a sorta thread bump post, but like I clicked the link from OMG Zombies and I LOVE this pixel art, I just had to say! Looks amazingly professional. Just like yummy art!
Drawing anything in MSPaint is like writing code in Notepad(++)
It is awesome, though. Do you do any animations?

I have no clue. Being technologically impaired I couldn't find it. That, or it didn't say. All I know is that it has 16 tools. Shapes, Lines, (The miserable) spray tool, text, pencil, brush, area select, paint bucket, eraser, color picker, and magnifier.
Oh, forgot to mention I did edit that version with Paintshop Pro. It's for a game I'm working so that's why it has better shading. Here's the original.

I love using MSpaint, I've made all of Poob's graphics in paint. Although for my other game project, I've used Fireworks for slight blurring.
I used to write D3D code in notepad back in the old days. LOL.
