  		 Harro!
I have a bit o' a prooblem. I'm running Vista and GIMP on me shiny new tablet computer. Problem is, GIMP doesn't recognize the tablet pen as a tablet pen. O_o I had an old Graphire tablet whose eraser tip was recognized, but it doesn't like my tablet pc's eraser. Also, I've noticed that it "blips". When I start drawing, the pen jumps a bit. I'm thinking this may be due to the hold-down-to-right-click thing...
Has anyone had experience with getting GIMP to play nice with tablet pens? When I try to configure extended input devices, it says there aren't any. O_o I updated the driver.

I don't like GIMP very much. :\ I wonder why it's praised so much.

I pick mspaint over gimp even; it's that bad. Graphics gale, paint.net, photoshop, anything but gimp.

Yea, I ended up going into MSPaint before finally switching to the good old familiar TGF editor. Graphics Gale seems to be for pixel-oriented art. Photoshop is expensive, and I haven't tried paint.net out yet.

I use TGF for pixel art, I'm wanting something to do tablet-based non-pixel/shiny stuff.

Wait, I was talking about for any editing of any picture. For pixel art I use MMF2's editor.

@OMC paint.net is pretty sweet, its kinda like paint and a bit of photoshop mixed together. Lot of cool things you can do with it.

I use JASC Paint Shop, and it's not too expensive-
(of course it depends on which version you want)
I think I got mine off eBay for 7 or 8 bucks for version 7.-something?
